The Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMS) is a prestigious math competition designed to challenge students to think critically and solve non-routine math problems. The competition is divided into two divisions:
- Division E (Elementary): For students in grades 4-6.
- Division M (Middle): For students in grades 6-8 (though advanced 4th and 5th graders may also participate in Division M).
MOEMS consists of five monthly contests, each containing 5 challenging problems. The problems focus on logical reasoning, problem-solving, and creative thinking, encouraging students to develop perseverance and analytical skills.
